Job Role

We are seeking a motivated Accommodation Coordinator to work with our accommodation department in South Brisbane.

  • This is a fixed-term role, requiring a start date between 28th of July to 15th of August and an end date of 13th of February.

The successful candidate will work together with the Host Family team to ensure that homestay visits and recruitment are running smoothly. They will also be responsible for managing student residences and maintaining a high level of standard through excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, a highly developed customer service focus, and a positive attitude. They should also have target-driven organizational skills, leadership experience or potential, appreciation of international cultures, creative problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating successful matches between students and prospective host families.
  • Recruiting host families in accordance with EF policy and plans.
  • Providing customer care support to host family phone calls and enquiries.
  • Visiting prospective hosts to determine their suitability.
  • Tracking weekly recruitment statistics, in collaboration with the Accommodation Team and School Director.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer support service to host families and international students.
  • Maintaining accurate records of homestay providers.
  • Sharing emergency on-call duties with other school staff.
Key Requirements
  • A driving license is desirable but not essential.
