Senior Finance Manager Opportunity

The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to assume a pivotal role within their finance team. This position plays a central part in the corporate financial accounting and control functions, overseeing both Group and Metro JV entities.

This individual will be a key internal partner to the Chief Financial Officer, General Manager of Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, and various finance and senior management teams. Externally, they will collaborate with auditors and consultants, providing essential financial insights and advice.

  • Corporate financial control and accounting, including statutory financial accounts for Group, Metro, and other ASX-related reporting.
  • Managing corporate forecasts and budgets, alongside comprehensive variance analysis.
  • Developing accounting policies and leading the monthly corporate reporting process.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and defining their scope of work.
  • Designing and maintaining robust financial controls and policies that align with regulatory and accounting standards while offering business flexibility.
  • Owning and communicating the overall financial timetable, coordinating with board meetings, external property managers, and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications include CA or CPA qualification and extensive experience in corporate financial control and accounting, especially with publicly listed entities. A strong background in statutory financial reporting and ASX compliance is required.
