Primary Care Medical Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced primary care medical specialist to join our team. As a primary care medical specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
">">Key Responsibilities:">- Deliver primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards and legislation">
- Form part of a multidisciplinary team working towards the shared purpose of achieving and maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members">
- Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports their health and wellbeing">
- Provide medical technical advice to senior staff members and commanders">
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care">
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records">
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)">
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration">
- Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)">
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA">
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification">
- Australian Citizenship">
