About the Job

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our machinery operates at optimal levels, providing an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality service to meet customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and implement solutions promptly.
  • Maintain machines to prevent operational or mechanical inefficiencies.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including pre-season and post-season servicing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve work instructions and assembly procedures.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement activities and assist in training new team members.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Management/Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience as a field service engineer or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of electronics/electrical assembly and wiring.
  • Working knowledge of PC and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups.

You should possess good written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong customer service mindset.

Work Environment

You will be working in various settings, including food processing plants, farms, cold storage facilities, and outside in different temperatures. You must be willing and able to work overtime when requested and travel extensively up to 80% of the time within Australia, New Zealand, and other regions.
