Service Delivery Specialist Role

This position involves ensuring high-quality service to enhance machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that machines meet customer expectations.
  • Respond promptly to machine issues in the field and resolve them efficiently.
  • Optimize operational or mechanical efficiency through problem-solving.
  • Resolve machine problems and performance issues through thorough troubleshooting.
  • Perform regular maintenance to include pre-season and post-season servicing of machines, with a focus on ongoing performance enhancement.
  • Remove and install mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, belts, and motors.
  • Collaborate with engineering and research teams to improve work instructions and document assembly and testing procedures.
  • Maintain close relationships with sales leadership and customer care teams, providing updates and advising on potential sales opportunities or customer concerns.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities and ensure company tools and equipment are used correctly and maintained to prevent unnecessary deterioration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant university degree level qualification or trade certification is preferred, along with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service engineer or equivalent education.
  • Relevant knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of PC and MS office suite applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to present information effectively to various audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
