The Role

The Maintenance Planning Specialist will be responsible for the guidance and leadership of the long-term and strategic planning function for Incitec Pivot Fertilisers. This role will involve development and coaching on the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the current CMMS and asset performance.
  • Managing system processes for SAP, iAuditor, SharePoint, Shaers and Microsoft Suite, adhering to IPL corporate governance.
  • Managing Process and Asset Management reports.
  • Developing detailed costs for all CMMS activities, including life cycle cost modelling for assets, plans, jobs and Bill Materials (BOMs) for equipment and managing budget forecasting in line with maintenance plans.
  • Maintaining the Work Management Manual, IPL Standards, SAP configuration manual and relevant training material.
  • Working with the Maintenance Manager to ensure agreed systems and processes are followed and assisting in the implementing of continuous improvement initiatives for the long term and strategic maintenance plan for all assets.
  • Travel to site when required.

  • Experience with influencing internal and external stakeholders and taking ownership of the role.
  • Formal education in either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
  • A high level of experience within SAP, computer literacy, and Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Leadership experience, ideally within Engineering, Maintenance or other Heavy Industries.
