About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Incitec Pivot Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering target equipment availability and maintenance value by effectively executing maintenance strategies and managing the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of tasks using IPL's standard maintenance work management processes.
  • Oversee and support plant shutdown execution activities.
  • Enhance equipment availability and reduce costs through the implementation of key business improvement processes.
  • Lead and manage the workforce to meet site Zero Harm, cost, and Uptime targets, ensuring consistent execution of maintenance work management per global IPL standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Operations and Reliability & Engineering to promote teamwork.
  • Formulate and manage annual maintenance budgets with effective monthly cost control, reviewing, approving, and implementing maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure the safe, effective, and timely execution of maintenance activities during both normal operations and plant shutdowns.
Requirements
  • You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • You will need to be a qualified engineer or Trade, with a focus around planning and leadership.
  • Proven history of improving plant performance and reliability.
  • A good understanding of asset management, asset strategy or reliability.
  • SAP proficiency is a must.
  • You'll have experience with both online and offline maintenance.
