Job Title: Sales Director/General Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director/General Sales Director to lead our sales team in Ballina, NSW. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales operations, and developing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Achieve Sales Objectives: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, including setting and achieving long-term sales and gross profit objectives.
  • Lead and Manage Sales Team: Mentor, coach, and lead a team of sales professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the operational management of the sales team, including stock management, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure a superior customer experience by setting clear standards and expectations for sales team members.
  • Business Management: Monitor and act on business management information and other key performance indicators to optimize used vehicle performance and profit opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and Sales Skills: Outstanding negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Strong knowledge of motor dealership systems, including Pentana and Dealer Socket, and experience working in a similar role.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
