We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Barclay Recruitment. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the stability of our consultancy by assisting the incumbent transition out of the business while maintaining the quality and timeliness of our engineering outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing and/or reviewing structural designs
  • Allocating jobs
  • Liaising with clients and external stakeholders
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Providing leadership to, and assisting in the development of, other engineers through guidance and instruction
About the Company

Our client is one of the longest standing engineering consultancies in the Toowoomba region, with a reputation for providing cost-effective engineering solutions across the Surat Basin, South Burnett, Wide Bay and Western Queensland.

What We Offer
  • A competitive base salary of between $140,000 - $160,000 plus superannuation

Requirements
  • A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
  • RPEQ/CPEng – or evidence of progression towards achieving these accreditations
  • Approximately 7 years Australian engineering consultancy experience
  • Competency in any of the industry standard design software e.g. Auto CAD, Revit, Microstran
  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a small cohesive team when required
