Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and customer-focused service across various front office functions, including patient admissions, reception/switchboard, and health fund eligibility checks.
  • Conduct health fund eligibility checks and estimates, pre-admission support, bookings, and ward clerk duties.
  • Work effectively as part of a dynamic team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of patient information and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in healthcare administration, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to patients and visitors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and keyboard and computer skills.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge and problem-solving aptitude.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Expanded medical terminology knowledge and awareness of private health insurance criteria.
  • Familiarity with WebPAS system and other healthcare software.
