**Injury Management & Wellbeing Specialist Role**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Injury Management & Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. As a trusted partner to our employees, you will play a vital role in managing workplace injuries and illnesses by coordinating effective rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring injured or unwell employees receive the support they need to recover and safely reintegrate into the workplace while driving health and wellbeing initiatives that embed a proactive approach to injury prevention.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Responding to all injury notifications and preparing individual rehabilitation and return-to-work plans
  • Managing workers compensation and personal injury/illness portfolios
  • Consulting and liaising with stakeholders to implement prevention and early intervention risk strategies
  • Providing solutions to overcome health and capacity challenges
  • Reviewing medical assessment results and advising HR on safe job matches
  • Implementing health and risk management programs, including ergonomics, reasonable workplace modifications, and compliant health monitoring
  • Maintaining statistics, reports, and ensuring policies comply with legislation

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in injury management roles with a multidisciplinary approach
  • Excellent knowledge of state Workers Compensation schemes and understanding of factors significant to premium management
  • Results-focused with a strong understanding of OHS and ergonomics
  • Excellent communication skills and HR qualification or injury management/health related discipline
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Mental Health First Aid Certificate desirable

**Estimated Salary Range:** $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
