Engineering Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Engineering Administrator to join our team in Broome office.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Department to ensure the smooth operation of the resort. Key responsibilities include reporting to the Chief Engineer, working collaboratively with the entire Engineering Department, communicating effectively with staff from other departments as required, interacting with external contractors and suppliers, preparing purchase orders with accuracy, dispatching maintenance requests and following up on outstanding requests.
The role also involves ensuring stationery supplies within the department are maintained, filing documentation efficiently, undertaking end-of-month reporting procedures, and proactively monitoring and reporting areas for improvement.
In addition, the successful candidate will undertake project work under the instruction of the Chief Engineer.
Requirements- Essential previous administrative and/or finance experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A high level of organization and communication skills, both oral and written.
