Cleaning Professional for Department of Education, Western Australia

The Department of Education, Western Australia, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools.
Job OverviewWe offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of AU$65,000 - AU$80,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of internal and external cleaning duties, including:
- Maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces
- Cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows
- Dusting and rubbish removal
- Vacation cleaning duties, such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas
You will also be responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues, and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
