About the Role:
The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to lead the planning and coordination of sourcing and contract management activities. This role requires expertise in ensuring value for money, delivering desired outcomes, and effectively managing risks throughout the procurement process.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement innovative improvements to procurement processes and practices, aligning with state quality and continuous improvement objectives. Key responsibilities include advising and supporting the development of procurement and contract management strategies that empower the network to optimize efficiency across the entire supply chain.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and correspondence including procurement and contract management documentation. They should also have experience successfully negotiating with internal or external clients, service providers, or organizations to achieve positive outcomes.
About You:
- Experience in establishing, maintaining, or reviewing systems, practices, protocols, and procedures to ensure service quality and efficiency.
- Proven experience in the use of project and change management techniques, utilizing sound management principles.
- Experience in managing the end-to-end procurement process for various categories within the private or public sector.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to deliver business outcomes while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
