About the Role
A Regional Dietician position has opened up at the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team focused on improving community health outcomes and wellbeing.
As a Regional Dietician, you will leverage your extensive clinical experience and specialized knowledge to design, implement, and assess tailored services that meet local needs. With increased autonomy, you will take the lead in guiding less experienced allied health professionals, assistants, and students. Collaborating with a diverse multi-professional team, you will blend preventative strategies, early interventions, and cutting-edge treatments to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective health services that cater to the diverse needs of the local community.
- Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to support the development of local health policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Contribute to the development of training programs and professional development opportunities for allied health professionals.
Requirements
- A recognized qualification within a relevant Allied Health Profession.
- Eligibility for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
