Key Role: Solutions Architect for Public Sector
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for leading a team of solution architects focused on increasing the adoption of Amazon Web Services within the Australia and New Zealand market.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the ANZ Solutions Architecture team, focusing on long-term customer satisfaction through effective solutions.
- Develop key relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure the hiring, training, and development of new Solution Architects from both internal and external sources, promoting a culture of innovation and growth.
- Coach the team in skills required for one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions, driving knowledge sharing and expertise development.
- Educate public sector customers on the value proposition of AWS, engaging in architectural discussions to address their needs.
- Guide the development of high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices, leveraging expertise and industry knowledge.
- Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support functions, fostering collaboration and issue resolution.
- 5+ years of experience in technical resource management or equivalent.
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking expertise.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven track record in architecting and operating solutions built on cloud service providers.
