Australia and New Zealand Cloud Architecture Director

We are seeking an exceptional leader to head our Solutions Architecture team in Australia and New Zealand. This senior role will focus on driving the adoption of Amazon Web Services within the region, developing strategic relationships with key accounts, and hiring, training, and developing new Solution Architects.
About the Team- The ANZ Solutions Architecture team provides leadership and guidance to public sector customers on the value proposition of AWS and participates in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- The team also educates customers on the skills needed to conduct training sessions and transfer technical skills to customers.
- Lead a high-performing team of Solution Architects focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services within the Australia and New Zealand market.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts in the region to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Educate public sector customers on the benefits and features of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
- Build and coach the team on the skills needed to conduct training sessions and transfer technical skills to customers.
- Guide the development of high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices.
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience in technical, enterprise customer-facing resources or equivalent.
- Proven experience in architecting/operating solutions built on cloud service providers like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
