An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Assistant to join Lendlease's Construction team on a high-profile project. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Completions Manager in managing the construction process, ensuring it is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Completions Manager in delivering the construction of the building. This includes:

  • Ensuring all construction documentation is generated in accordance with the correct standards and processes.
  • Assisting with training of subcontractors and staff
  • Monitoring the progress of construction against schedule and taking appropriate action to ensure milestones are met
  • Maintaining open and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
  • Processing and maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including documentation and correspondence,

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience working in construction
  • Knowledge on a healthcare project preferred but not essential
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively
  • A commitment to safety and quality, with a focus on continuous improvement
