Occupational Therapist Role Overview

This role presents a unique opportunity to develop clinical and management skills in an acute, residential and community health setting.

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing services to consumers in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality occupational therapy services to consumers in community services, medical/surgical inpatients and outpatients, residential aged care facilities, and Commonwealth Home Support Program.
  • To work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal consumer outcomes.
  • To contribute to the development of clinical programs and services that meet the needs of our consumers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consumers, families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
