Occupational Therapist Leadership Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your clients and foster the development of others within the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner. This will involve assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity, interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant, and guiding junior staff members or students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner.
  • Assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity.
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Guiding junior staff members or students.
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
  • Demonstrated at least 3 years clinical OT experience within community, rehabilitation and/or paediatrics.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
