About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our Sydney Corporate practice. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Partner Grant Hummel and collaborate with our prominent client base on a wide range of corporate transactions, including equity capital markets, public M&A, private treaty M&A, strategic advice, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, ASX listings, secondary raisings, and private rounds;
  • Advise on private and public M&A, including sale of business, share purchase agreements, and schemes of arrangements;
  • Provide corporate governance and director duties advice;
  • Assist with business set up, structuring, shareholder agreements, and related documentation;
  • Collaborate with international clients on Australian transactions.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of post-admission experience;
  • Proven experience in ECM and M&A;
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking capabilities;
  • Excellent leadership skills to develop and mentor junior colleagues.
