Job Overview

This role involves coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment to various construction sites across Sydney, ensuring seamless warehouse operations, and providing operational support to the business.

We're looking for a dedicated and energetic individual who can plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently, with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on problem-solving.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver cleaning materials, equipment, and machinery to construction projects in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload deliveries and equipment at sites and in the warehouse.
  • Operate company vans and trailers for delivery purposes.
  • Maintain safety checks and documentation daily.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks for functionality and repairs.
  • Ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Verify receipt of items from suppliers against orders and delivery documentation.
  • Comply with safety standards on and off site while driving.
  • Obtain client sign-off for completed works.
  • Perform construction cleaning tasks and operate equipment as required.
  • Manage stock and inventory control, including reporting.
  • Monitor and report on equipment tracking across all sites.
  • Safely store chemicals and equipment.
  • Keep company vehicles stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
  • Foster collaboration with cleaners, project delivery teams, and clients.
  • Maintain a safe, efficient, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Engage in general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties.

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • You should be available to work Monday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • A full driver's license is mandatory.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively and be fluent in English.
  • Confidence in driving company vans and trailers, including reversing trailers, is essential.
  • Good geographical knowledge of Sydney metro areas is beneficial.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and minimal supervision are key requirements.
  • You should be able to multitask, prioritize deliveries based on urgency, and handle a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • A physically fit candidate with the ability to meet the job's physical demands is necessary.
  • A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, well-presented appearance, and professionalism are expected.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential.

What We Offer

- Competitive hourly rate ($30.00+).

- Various shift options (10 hour and 8 hour shifts) and weekend availability.
