We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate advocate to lead our victim support services. As the independent statutory advocate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the rights of victims of crime are protected and respected.

This position oversees Victim Support ACT, a vital service providing emotional support, practical assistance, and financial aid to eligible victims of crime. In addition, the incumbent will manage the Intermediary Program, which enables vulnerable witnesses to communicate effectively during legal proceedings.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for victims of crime in the Australian Capital Territory
  • Lead and oversee Victim Support ACT and the Intermediary Program

**Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and advocacy experience
  • In-depth understanding of victim support services and their significance

**Performance-Based Contract:** The successful applicant will be engaged under a long-term contract that incentivizes high-quality performance and delivers tangible outcomes.
