RFID Solutions Deployment Specialist

A leading organization is seeking a skilled RFID solutions deployment expert to oversee the installation and integration of RFID hardware and software systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and deploying RFID systems that align with client infrastructure and project objectives.
  • A strong understanding of on-site testing procedures is essential to confirm the RFID system configuration meets operational requirements.
  • This role involves supporting field operations including site assessments, setup, system configuration, upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • The successful candidate will collaborate with project stakeholders to manage timelines, address challenges, and mitigate potential risks.
  • Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and validating system components in accordance with project scope and documentation.
  • Maintaining solution currency through software patches and hardware updates is crucial for this position.
  • Enhancing system performance through tuning and optimization will be a key focus area.
  • Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance (Tier 2 level) is also an essential aspect of this role.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • An in-depth understanding of RFID technologies and applications is necessary for this position.
  • Proven experience deploying end-to-end RFID solutions, including printers, tags, readers, tunnels, and portals, is required.
  • At least three years of hands-on experience in RFID implementation projects is preferred.
  • Ability to lead teams and coordinate technical tasks effectively is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for customer-facing engagements.
  • A well-organized approach, self-driven attitude, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively are key qualities for this role.
  • Practical experience with installation and configuration of RFID systems is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
  • Must be available for on-site work in the specified region when not traveling.
