Culinary Operations Director

Seeking an accomplished leader to spearhead our commercial food production operations in Australia. As a seasoned executive, you will oversee all culinary and operational functions within a high-volume commercial kitchen.
The ideal candidate will lead Kitchen Operations and Catering Production, as well as mentor senior leadership team members to achieve strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:- Act as a key member of the Melbourne Airport International catering centre leadership team, ensuring seamless culinary operations.
- Provide expert guidance and direction for the Culinary team.
- Mentor and lead kitchen managers, including Executive Chef and Exec Sous Chefs.
- Oversee operational and service delivery activities to guarantee timely flight services.
- Ensure accuracy in recipes and menus, meeting presentation and specification standards across Economy, Business, and First Class flights.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale commercial food service operations.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams of 200+ personnel.
- Desirable: exposure to Airline Catering Operations.
- Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of P&Ls.
- Excellent leadership agility, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills.
