Job Opportunity: Embedded IoT Professional

We are seeking an Embedded IoT Professional to expand our reach in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco.

About the Position:
  • This is a sales and strategic account development role that requires energy, ambition, and focus.
  • The successful candidate will carry an annual sales quota within their assigned territory and be able to travel regionally for client engagement and internationally for company events twice a year.

We provide leading open-source software and operating systems to global enterprises and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in breakthrough initiatives like public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who can develop and execute a territory plan to prioritize top brands and manufacturers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing and executing a territory plan to prioritize leading brands and manufacturers
  • Collaborating with marketing to promote our brand and increase market awareness in key accounts
  • Establishing a pipeline through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events
  • Closing contracts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and achieve strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • Exceptional academic record from both high school and university
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Ability to confidently communicate ideas and share feedback
  • Track record of exceeding expectations to achieve outstanding results
  • Field sales experience in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software
  • Passion for technology evident through personal projects and initiatives
