Executive Leader Sought for Corporate Governance Role

Job Summary:

This role oversees the management of corporate governance, subsidiary compliance, operational, and transactional legal matters.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and implement innovative solutions.

They will also possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Develop and manage governance initiatives, ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed with excellence.
  • Partner with the Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary to ensure corporate governance best practices.
  • Evaluate, revise, and implement policies and procedures relating to corporate governance, subsidiary governance, and legal operations.
  • Lead a team of professionals across the globe who manage and ensure compliance in our network of global subsidiaries.
  • Support legal entity restructuring and optimization projects.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of relevant experience OR Paralegal certificate with an ABA-accredited program and 12-15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience working as a member of the legal and/or corporate secretary department of a U.S. publicly traded company with global operations.
  • National or state paralegal credential is a plus.
