This is an exciting opportunity to join a team as a Client Relationship Manager, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients. You will have a proven track record of growing and managing institutional client relationships, and possess excellent sales closing, relationship management, and negotiation skills. This role requires strong business development skills, with the ability to drive own agenda and oversee client relationships from front-end to back-end.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of investment concepts, economics, and capital markets. You will also need to possess at least 5-7 years of relevant industry experience, with a Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics or relevant curriculum. In addition, you will need to have a regulatory certificate in the relevant jurisdiction. If you are a collaborative team player with a senior presence, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and oversee the relationship/initiatives of new and existing clients and mandates under coverage.
- Develop relationships across the strata of influential asset allocators and investment teams in key institutions which have been identified as being interested in developing partnerships of this nature.
- Participate in formal portfolio client reviews; the Account Manager needs to develop deep technical and macro expertise to act as the surrogate portfolio manager and represent the firm according to PIMCO standards.
- Collaborate with the Lead Account Manager and client management team to provide relationship management coverage, including stepping in as the Account Manager as appropriate.
- Build and maintain a detailed knowledge of key business and strategic issues facing target channels, with the objective of addressing these issues.
