Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill a Senior Associate role within our Institutional Risk department. In this position, you will play a pivotal part in managing unlitigated and litigated historical abuse claims, fostering strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of unlitigated and litigated historical abuse claims
  • Developing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients, including insurance companies and in-house counsel
  • Providing expert advice, drafting files, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results
  • Negotiating settlements, attending conferences, mediations, and court proceedings, while effectively managing court processes
  • Utilizing in-depth technical expertise, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and applying strategic thinking to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strategic and commercial awareness, coupled with technical ability and excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
