Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $88,000 – $122,000 per annum, 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading, and relocation assistance available for interstate candidates.
Job DescriptionThis role involves working in a culturally diverse environment, providing a contemporary, evidence-based speech pathology service, including assessment, treatment planning and evaluation, for people presenting with a wide range of conditions and syndromes, with a focus on dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
- Working with clients and their representatives to identify individualised goals and preferences;
- Selecting, developing, and tailoring augmentative and alternative communication systems, programs, and resources for participants with communication needs;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology;
- Current Certification with Speech Pathology Australia;
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with adult caseload;
- Experience in the delivery of speech pathology services within a disability sector context, with a focus on dysphagia and swallowing disorders;
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills;
- Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in conducting assessments and writing high-quality individualised assessment and program reports;
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
