Secondary Education Specialist

South Coast Baptist College provides Christian education with a focus on empowering students to reach their purpose. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join our Health and Physical Education team, specialising in Outdoor Education.
The successful candidate will focus on student learning, support the Head of Department in delivering high-quality teaching, and contribute to the development of a vibrant and growing outdoor education culture within the College.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences
- Develop and implement outdoor education programs
- Provide pastoral care and support for students
- A recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the relevant authority
- Demonstrated experience teaching HPE at the secondary school level
- Experience delivering outdoor education programs
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive learning environment
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and staff
- To have a personal faith and commitment to Christian values
- To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community
- To accept the College's Statement of Faith
