Secondary Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our secondary teaching team.

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver inspiring lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, promoting student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessments, and school events, maintaining strong communication with parents.
  • Integrate technology into classroom practice to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, school meetings, and classroom observations to continually improve teaching quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A recognised teaching qualification with TRBWA registration (or eligibility for registration).
  • Demonstrated experience and success in teaching Humanities and Social Sciences at the secondary level, with strong curriculum knowledge.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and strong communication skills for building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment using effective classroom management strategies.
