Project Officer is an exciting opportunity to provide effective administration support to a team in relation to information management and procurement activities which support Queensland Health initiatives and objectives.
This role involves coordinating the delivery of small to medium work packages, ensuring solutions are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support and coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling and tracking of deliverables, utilising available project management tools and methodologies.
- Develop or assist with the development of project management documentation, including formal project plans, budgets and estimates.
- Ensure compliance with best practice guidelines and the Queensland Health formal project management approach and methodologies.
- Proven high level oral and written communication skills and a high-level ability to apply contemporary leadership principles to develop and maintain effective relationships within the project team and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience and high level knowledge to design and coordinate small to medium scale projects.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills and an ability to work unsupervised while coordinating multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
