Field Operations Manager

The Field Operations Manager plays a pivotal part in driving the efficient management and oversight of field service operations.

This role involves coordinating teams by ensuring effective and safe delivery of services while maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Lead and manage a team of field personnel, including supervisors, technicians and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members to ensure they meet performance objectives.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Plan and execute field operations according to project specifications and timelines.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate activities to meet project goals.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for work performed in the field.
  • Manage and optimise the allocation of equipment, materials, and manpower.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with clients or customers in the field.
  • Monitor field personnel's performance and productivity.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for team members.
  • Address conflicts and issues within the team promptly.
  • Plan and manage logistics for field operations, including transportation and accommodation if required.
  • Ensure that projects or services meet or exceed customer expectations.

Key Requirements:

A Grade Electrical License, Relevant Meter Exchange experience, Drivers License are essential for this role.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing and optimising field service operations. A proven background in coordinating teams, ensuring efficient and safe service delivery, adhering to quality standards and compliance with regulations is vital.

Strong problem-solving skills, project management proficiency, and the ability to analyse data for process improvement are also essential.
