Risk Transfer and Product Development Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a product development team within a risk management division. As the Lead for Risk Transfer and Product Innovation, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of risk transfer solutions aligned with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the development of risk transfer solutions that meet sector-specific requirements.
- Support data analysis to inform risk transfer decisions and product design.
- Develop and maintain frameworks and processes to manage the product lifecycle.
- Oversee the design, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance programs.
- Monitor reinsurance performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Support reinsurance-related reporting and administration as required.
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to navigate complex environments and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing innovative risk transfer solutions or experience with reinsurance program design and placement.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant general insurance industry experience.
- Project management experience or qualification (desired).
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial, or related field.
- Certified member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) or equivalent.
