This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled and motivated individual with expertise in insurance risk development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the development of innovative risk transfer solutions aligned with sector-specific strategies. This includes working closely with industry stakeholders, developing and maintaining frameworks and processes to manage the product lifecycle, and ensuring alignment with capital management objectives and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of risk transfer solutions.">
  • Support data gathering and analysis to inform risk transfer decisions and product design.">
  • Help develop and maintain frameworks and processes to manage the product lifecycle.">
  • Oversee the design, negotiation, and placement of reinsurance programs.">
  • Monitor reinsurance performance and ensure alignment with capital management objectives and product requirements.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with various stakeholders.">
  • Proven ability to navigate complex environments and stakeholders.">
  • Experience in developing innovative risk transfer solutions or experience with re/insurance program design and placement.">
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant general insurance and industry experience.">
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial, or related field.">
  • Certified member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) or equivalent.">
  • Fit and proper person under APRA guidelines.">
