Role Overview

A high-performing Business Analyst is required to lead the analysis and delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple divisions. This role involves shaping the future of our business, leading planning and delivery of projects, and driving stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing effective project plans and timelines
  • Fostering collaborative relationships with business, technical, and executive teams
  • Conducting in-depth analysis to identify business needs and opportunities
  • Transforming complex business problems into actionable solutions and specifications
  • Leveraging expertise to mentor and support other Business Analysts
  • Designing and documenting processes, workflows, and solution architecture
  • Utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to support delivery and governance
Requirements
  • 5-8 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to agile large-scale or enterprise-level projects
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Advanced stakeholder management and influencing abilities
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Deep experience in one or more domains: risk & compliance, digital, transformation, operations, or IT
  • Proficient in business process modeling (As-Is/To-Be), user story development, and data analysis
  • Regulated industries (insurance, finance, health) experience highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA certifications (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, Agile AAC)
  • Agile qualifications (e.g., PSM, CSM)
  • Familiarity with APRA regulations and risk identification beneficial
