Job Title: Senior Automotive Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automotive Auditor to join our team at CDMGURU. As a Senior Automotive Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting on-site audits at automotive dealerships, managing audit engagements independently or as part of a team, and ensuring high-quality audit services and maintaining strong client relationships.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior accountant who is competent in dealing with vehicle dealership audits. The role enables you to draw on all your skills and experience as an accountant and auditor, offering a base in Sydney and the opportunity to travel throughout Australia with a clear succession plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site audits at automotive dealerships (small to large)
  • Manage audit engagements independently or as part of a team, depending on client size
  • Travel frequently (5-6 trips per year) to regional towns and cities
  • Ensure high-quality audit services and maintain strong client relationships
  • Provide tax/business services support for multi-faceted entities
  • Assist business owners with their personal taxation requirements
  • Collaborate with senior managers and directors to ensure effective delivery of services
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years' Australian audit and business services experience
  • Extensive experience with automotive industry audits is highly desirable
  • CA or CPA qualified or currently pursuing qualifications
  • Proven ability to manage audits independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to providing high-quality audit/tax business services
