Key Role in Forensic Biology and DNA Services
The NSW Health Pathology unit is seeking a skilled Laboratory Manager to lead a team of professionals providing world-class forensic biology and DNA analysis services. This senior position requires an individual who can effectively drive operational excellence, scientific leadership, and strategic vision within the service.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in Science relevant to the unit and possess extensive experience in an accredited laboratory or comparable environment.
- Exhibit strong operational management skills, including effective resource allocation and critical communication strategies.
- Be able to successfully lead a team, with a commitment to staff development and mentorship.
- Demonstrate expertise in improving service delivery and leveraging data to optimize laboratory efficiency.
- Show a high level of understanding of quality management systems and NATA Forensic Accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders.
