Forensic Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Professional to join our team of experts in Forensic Biology and DNA Analysis.
This role involves applying advanced scientific knowledge to the provision of expert certificates with varying levels of complexity, ensuring accurate, quality, timely, and customer-focused provision of tests and reports in a NATA accredited unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply advanced scientific knowledge and experience in the field of Forensic Biology and DNA Analysis to the provision of expert certificates with varying levels of complexity.
- Ensure the accurate, quality, timely, and customer-focused provision of tests and reports in a NATA accredited unit.
- A Bachelor Degree or higher degree in Science or Applied Science with a major relevant to the Forensic Biology/DNA Unit, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the Forensic Biology/DNA Unit from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated experience or extensive knowledge in methods, instrumentation, and emerging technologies relevant to the field of Forensic Biology, gained in an accredited laboratory or relevant environment.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the interpretation and reporting of complex forensic DNA results in an accredited forensic laboratory.
- Accrued Days Off in addition to Annual Leave OR 9 day fortnight in addition to Annual Leave.
