About the Role
\We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Group Risk team as a Strategic Credit Director. This pivotal role is all about making smart credit decisions that drive growth while safeguarding our risk appetite.
\In this role, you will be at the heart of our credit assessment process - analysing, structuring, and decisioning SME and Middle Market submissions with precision and purpose. You will play a key role in mentoring others, fostering a best-practice risk culture, and contributing to strategic initiatives that support our growth ambitions.
\You'll be responsible for attending strategic meetings, visiting customers, or influencing credit policy, your impact will be felt across the organisation. Whether it's interpreting financial statements and corporate structures with precision or communicating with empathy and clarity, you'll set yourself apart from other professionals.
