SLR has a great opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join our APAC Finance team in Brisbane on a full-time basis.
This exciting role has been created due to the company's growth and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone comfortable in a customer focused, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
After a qualifying period, this partially hybrid role provides the autonomy to manage and take ownership of your own ledgers.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller and working within a small credit team, your main duties and responsibilities will include : Managing and taking ownership of your own ledgers Conducting credit assessments Negotiating payment terms Following up on overdue invoices and initiating collection efforts Processing and verifying customer credit applications Maintaining accurate customer records Resolving unallocated payments Prioritising competing tasks effectively Skills & experience Ideally, you will bring the following experience, although a willingness to learn is also highly valued : Legal knowledge Insolvency knowledge Experience with journaling credits Managing overseas collections Strong communication and negotiating skills We are proud of our unique culture where we work together to collaborate on projects to get the best possible outcome for our clients.
