Financial Professional Job Opportunity

This part-time role is with an organisation that prioritises kindness, integrity and safety.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will support the finance team with accounting functions including month-end and year-end activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
  • Key responsibilities include performing regular accounting activities, assisting with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis, and participating in annual external audits.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and efficient financial information is delivered on time.

Requirements
  • A qualification in Accounting (or nearing completion) is required.
  • You should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations as well as experience in month-end accounting including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also required.
