Job Overview:

The Mine Accountant role is a key position that requires an experienced management accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and reporting, as well as stewardship of the general ledger and utilisation of Business Intelligence systems to prepare insightful reporting and understand business performance.

  • Complete all management accounting and financial reporting, including monthly mine site reporting and ad-hoc reporting.">
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.">
  • Support audit requirements for multiple mines during hard close, half and full year audit processes, and joint venture accounting and reporting.">
  • Ensure accurate allocation of expenses in the general ledger.">
  • Develop expertise in Pulse (ERP) and TM1 (BI software).">
  • Participate in testing of system updates.">

Required Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting / Business or related field.">
  • CPA or CA membership.">
  • At least 3 years' experience in management accounting and mine accounting.">
  • Systems experience in TM1 Planning Analytics, Pulse.">
  • Demonstrate a dynamic attitude with a positive mindset.">
  • Display a growth mindset and strong desire to learn and improve.">
