About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Child Safety Officer in our Ipswich Child Safety Service Centres, covering locations such as Ipswich, Ripley and Springfield. As a CSO, you will be responsible for delivering statutory child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines.

You will work in teams based in CSSC covering specific geographical areas across Queensland, working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver statutory child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework and case management
  • Work collaboratively with teams to deliver services in line with legislation and practice guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor level qualification in social work, psychology, human services or behavioural science
  • A valid driver's licence
  • The right to live and work in Australia

You should have strong relationships-focused skills, engagement, communication, written and time management skills, and be committed to being a team-player and providing great customer service.
