Project Officer - Safer Communities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables with the Project Manager.

The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in developing and evaluating educational frameworks, particularly in tertiary settings. Skilled in synthesising evidence, translating research into practice, and managing projects, you excel at creating actionable recommendations and delivering within timelines.

With strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills, you effectively build relationships and work across organisational levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office, you bring a practical, results-driven approach to creating impactful, evidence-based initiatives.

  • Develop and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables with the Project Manager.
  • Review evidence and benchmark practices in gender-based violence prevention across the organisation.
  • Audit education offerings, linking them to identified drivers of gender-based violence, and identify gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and design evaluation strategies for current and future education programs.
  • Collaborate with organisational partners to enhance the organisation's capacity to address gender-based violence.
  • Support compliance with national standards and contribute to safer, more inclusive policies.

About You

You have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience in developing and evaluating educational frameworks, particularly in tertiary settings.
