**Job Title:** Team Leader

The provision of high-quality care to residents is a critical component of this role. As a team leader, you will be responsible for supporting the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care across the home.

This opportunity is open to either Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with appropriate qualifications. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a similar setting, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing social and emotional support to all residents to ensure that care provision is holistic and person-centered.
  • Supporting the coordination of care needs across the home, including medication management, pressure care management, and nutrition and hydration.
  • Leading/supervising care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Performing medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies for delegation and supervision.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines).
  • A high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and learn new skills as required.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
