About the Speech Pathologist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to provide expert support to individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our participants across various locations.

The successful candidate will have excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction and report writing.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
  • Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for NDIS participants
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports
  • Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Speech Pathologist who has:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Good knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and treatment approaches
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults with disabilities
  • Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its processes
