Speech Language Pathologist Job Description
Job Summary

This role is designed to support the evaluation and treatment of individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology, AHPRA Registration, a Blue Card, a Drivers Licence, and First Aid & CPR certification or the ability to obtain it. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultation, assessment, and diagnosis of patients with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and families to support patient communication goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • AHPRA Registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Blue Card for working with vulnerable populations.
  • Valid Drivers Licence.
  • First Aid & CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
