Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Institutional Capital to join our New Business team. As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in the growth of our real estate and infrastructure funds management businesses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investors, developing a strong understanding of their strategic goals and investment objectives
  • Leading the domestic institutional investor engagement strategy and key point of contact into the Dexus platform
  • Initiating and following up on business opportunities, including new product and strategies
  • Active pitching to existing and potential investors on existing product suite or new ideas / opportunities to collaborate
  • Raising awareness of the Dexus platform and products domestically
  • Leading institutional capital raising in Australia and New Zealand for new joint venture opportunities and new product initiatives
  • Directing negotiations with capital partners on commercial terms of new joint ventures established

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience within funds management, strategy / banking / corporate development, or distribution. You will have strong communication and presentation skills, familiarity with the real-estate and/or infrastructure funds management sector, and existing industry and investor contacts within the real estate and infrastructure sectors. You will also have a proven track record of delivering a range of projects from conception to completion, achieving project goals, and strong business acumen, financial analysis and feasibility development skills.
